United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) will have its own pavilion located in the mobility district at the World Expo 2020 Dubai. The pavilion aims to stimulate connections, create experiences and foster creativity and innovation, through an exhibition and a program as well as other events co-curated with other pavilions. The University of the Future exhibition will invite you on a journey where you will DISCOVER, BECOME and CO-CREATE.

UAEU Expo 2020 Bootcamp

UAEU hosted a five day boot camp led by a team of experts to co-create and engage the UAEU community (Faculty, Student, Staff) in the content development and design of the UAEU pavilion at Expo 2020.

Shaima Al Qassab

Shaima Al Qassab is a senior chemical engineering student at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). Back in 2013, Shaima joined UAEU as a medical student having felt influenced in her choice by her surroundings such as her culture, parents and having graduated with a very high GPA from high school which brought with it high expectations. After spending a week as a medical student, Shaima decided that it wasn’t for her and joined the College of Engineering again because of the same reasons and influences and thinking it was the right path.
